Frozen On A Hot July Day
When Frozen’s Elsa ordered everyone to “Freeze!” they did, including Anna, the children, and their parents, who attended a special performance of songs from the animated musical at the Alum Creek Amphitheater. Attendees not only heard their favorite songs from the movie but were able to make a themed craft item and have a photo taken with the cast.

While Disney’s “Frozen” was being presented on stage at the Alum Creek Amphitheater, a crew worked at the edge of the theater installing pavers on the recently repaired section of South West Street. The repaired street now has a layer of asphalt and sand supporting new pavers. The street will be completed by the end of the week, depending on the weather.
A section of sidewalk was poured Wednesday morning on Cooper Road, connecting Braun Place with the bike path that runs beside Alum Creek and connects to the Ohio to Erie Bike Trail on the city's east side.
For paid subscribers, the “Frozen” photo gallery and an aerial of the new sidewalk on Cooper Road are below.
