After the arrest of Brendon Conklin, above, for impersonating a police officer and unlawful restraint by using his police interceptor vehicle with flashing police lights to stop a motorist he thought was driving dangerously, Westerville police are asking that if anyone had a similar encounter with Conklin to contact them.
Conklin, later arrested at his home, stopped a vehicle traveling very slowly on Cleveland Ave. near St. Anns and then stopped a Columbus police officer to report the driver.
A passing Westerville officer stopped to investigate as the stopped vehicle was in the city’s jurisdiction.
