Look At Those Windows!
City Hall Renovation Toward Final Phase
Contractors began installing the large replacement windows at City Hall this week, marking a major milestone in the building’s renovation. With construction expected to wrap up by May 2026, the city will then begin outfitting the space with new furniture and office equipment. Staff will also undergo training on updated systems and procedures as all city offices consolidate into a single location
Although the building is set to be ready around the same time the Saturday Farmers Market opens its season, parking will remain limited. Vehicles, storage containers, and the ongoing installation of a fire suppression system in the lots just north of City Hall will restrict available space throughout the summer.
As a result, the Saturday Market will continue operating from its temporary location at COhatch and North High Brewing through next summer.

Midnight Madness Descends on Uptown Westerville
This Friday, shadows grow longer and the air feels strange. Midnight Madness returns to Uptown Westerville for the final Fourth Friday of the year. As twilight falls, costumed children will roam the streets like tiny spirits, gathering treats from storefronts and vendor booths under the watchful glow of jack-o’-lanterns.
Uptown shops will open their doors late into the night, and an eerie, otherworldly feeling will fill the air. At the Westerville Public Library, the Wizards & Wands Festival will conjure magic for witches, warlocks, and wand-wielders of all ages. Come prepared to enter a world where spells swirl and strange creatures may hide behind the stacks.
Down West College Avenue, the Generations dancers will weave a different kind of spell with a performance filled with motion, mystery, and moonlit charm. It’s part ballet, part enchantment, and all wonder.
While the little monsters gather candy, parents can sip Halloween-themed DORA drinks as they explore the haunted heart of Uptown. And if you hear a whisper on the wind or footsteps that don’t match your own, it might be a stop on the Uptown Ghost Tour… or something else altogether.
The fun ends at 9 p.m.—but who says the spirits go home when the lights go out?
