Merger On Tuesday Agenda
Harlem Township Merger Public Comment
The fourth item on the legislative agenda for tonight’s Westerville City Council is the second reading of a proposal to merge the city with Harlem Township.
Following the reading the council will open the meeting for public comment on the proposal. Anyone may speak for three minutes.
Harlem Township held its first public meeting last month after announcing that it is seeking a merger with the City of Westerville. About 400 people gathered in Harlem Road Church’s sanctuary and hallways to hear an overview of the plans and see a slideshow detailing the process of merging the two communities.
