Music and Arts Festival This Weekend
Westerville Prepares for 51st Annual Music & Arts Festival: A Summer Tradition of Creativity
A beloved summer tradition returns to Westerville this weekend as the 51st Annual Westerville Music & Arts Festival prepares to welcome as many as 20,000 visitors. The picturesque Heritage Park and Everal Barn will once again come alive with the sights and sounds of creativity on Saturday, July 12, and Sunday, July 13, 2025.
For over half a century, this two-day event, organized by the Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce, has been a cornerstone of the community's cultural calendar. What began in 1974 as a modest gathering of 50 artists in Uptown Westerville has blossomed into a major regional attraction, drawing art enthusiasts and families from across Central Ohio and beyond. Over the years, the festival has been held in various locations, including Towers Hall at Otterbein University, before settling into its current home in the spacious and scenic Heritage Park in 2000.
This year's festival will continue its tradition of showcasing a diverse array of talent, with more than 130 juried artists exhibiting their work in mediums ranging from ceramics and digital art to 2D and 3D mixed media. The rigorous blind jury process, conducted in partnership with the Arts Council of Westerville and local art professionals, ensures a high standard of original, handcrafted work.
Music will fill the air throughout the weekend with over 30 performances scheduled across three stages. While the full lineup is eagerly anticipated and will be officially released closer to the event, an early announcement has confirmed a performance by country artist Ash Taylor. Taylor, a native of Bakersfield, California, now based in Nashville, is known for her hardworking, down-to-earth style and has been recognized as "One to Watch" by the Nashville Songwriters Association International. The main stage will also have performances by L.A. Chic, John Henry and the Rainmakers, Donna Mogavero & The Spirit-Lifters, Aaron T & The Guarantee, Erika Holycross, and North to Nashville.
Beyond the art and music, the festival will offer a feast for the senses, featuring over 20 food vendors and a variety of activities suitable for all ages. A youth art exhibit will celebrate the creativity of the next generation, and a silent auction will provide an opportunity to acquire unique pieces while supporting the arts.
The 51st Annual Westerville Music & Arts Festival will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, 2025. Admission is $2 for adults, with children 10 years old and under admitted free of charge. Cash and Venmo are accepted.
The Westerville Central girls’ soccer team used a scavenger hunt in Uptown to pass out flyers advertising the team’s car wash this Sunday at the Arby’s on Maxtown Road. Divided into teams, the girls criss-crossed each other on the sidewalks, often running from clue to clue to gain the advantage.

The team’s youthful exuberance was on display for shoppers, including one man patiently waiting for his wife to return with flowers from Talbott's for a wedding reception at their home.
