Westerville’s Field of Heroes with more than 3,000 flags displayed on the city’s sports field opened Friday night. The largest display of flags in central Ohio closes Monday at noon with a military flyover. The event is open 24 hours.

Fourth Friday Rain Delay
Umbrellas became the most favored object at last night’s Fourth Friday festival in Uptown Westerville. A single, isolated cloud brought a drenching downpour about an hour into the activities resulting in the crowd huddling under canopies, awnings, and vendor tents until the storm cleared and clear skies returned.
