One Person’s Trash is Another’s Treasure and Vintage Baseball - This Weekend.
It’s All Free at Westerville’s Reuseapalooza
Sometimes the best things in life aren’t bought—they’re found for free at the curb. This Saturday, August 30, Westerville residents will participate in Reuseapalooza, the city’s free, bi-annual curbside exchange, where everything is up for grabs.
From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., residents are invited to place clean, usable items outside their homes for neighbors to take at no cost. Whether it’s a couch, a coffee maker, kids’ toys, or tools collecting dust in the garage, this citywide giveaway turns unwanted items into someone else’s next great find.
This isn’t a garage sale—everything is 100% free.
Organized by Sustainable Westerville, Reuseapalooza isn’t just about cleaning out your home—it’s about cutting down on waste and extending the life of the city’s landfill. By giving used goods a second life, residents are helping the environment while building a stronger, more connected community.
How It Works:
Please share what you're giving away so others can find it.
Submit your item(s) - with a picture. Please limit to one or two. (We will post on the map for you.)

This weekend, Westerville swings at history.
The 33rd annual Ohio Cup Vintage Base Ball Festival returns August 30–31, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, at the Westerville Sports Complex. The event is free and open to all.
About 30 teams, including local favorites the Ohio Village Muffins and Ohio Village Diamonds, will play using 1860s baseball rules—back when it was spelled as two words and played without gloves. Expect gentlemanly sportsmanship, historic uniforms, and a complete absence of showboating.
Each game starts at the top of the hour, and games run throughout the day. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair and settle in.
This isn’t just for sports fans. The festival includes children’s activities, food trucks, and opportunities to learn about the roots of America’s pastime. It’s a family-friendly celebration of baseball history, community, and fun.
Whether you’re a die-hard baseball fan or just looking for a unique way to spend the weekend, the Ohio Cup is worth the visit.
