Going Green
The newest greenery in Westerville is vertical and plastic. Its planting was almost completed Monday on the facade of the Germain Volkswagen dealership being built at Polaris Parkway and Worthington Road.
Sheets of plastic plants tied to an almost square yard of metal framing cover the width of about half of the front facade of the building, primarily the service center.
Each sheet is attached to the wall with anchors designed and 3D-printed by Ambius, the Detroit-based company installing the wall.
A photo gallery of the system and squares is below for paid subscribers. It also includes aerial photos of the site including its location and proximity to where Chick-Fil-A is planned.
Historical Book Signing
Frank E. Dobson, Jr. Ph.D. will speak tonight at a meeting of the Westerville Historical Society at the library to talk about the story of Cardiss Collins and the book “The Impact of Congresswoman Cardiss Collins” that he and his daughter, Jasmin, wrote.

Dobson is the Chief Diversity Officer of Otterbein University.
The book can be purchased and signed at the event that begins at 7 pm.
