‘The week starts unsettled, with a chance of showers on Monday and thunderstorms possible late in the day. Highs will reach around 68, with breezy southwest winds and occasional stronger gusts. Monday night remains mostly cloudy, with a continued chance of showers and thunderstorms before conditions quiet down overnight and temperatures fall to around 62.
Tuesday looks warmer, with a high near 79 and partly sunny skies, though a slight chance of showers and late-day thunderstorms remains. Winds will stay strong, with gusts reaching up to 36 mph. Tuesday night brings a better chance of rain, with showers and possible thunderstorms becoming more likely after midnight and continuing into Wednesday.
Wednesday appears to be the wettest day of the week, with showers and thunderstorms likely throughout the day and a high near 69. Rain continues into Wednesday night, with a low around 48. Unsettled weather persists on Thursday, with more showers likely and thunderstorms possible in the afternoon, followed by continued rain chances Thursday night.
By Friday, showers are still likely, especially earlier in the day, under mostly cloudy skies and a high near 72. The weekend does not bring much improvement, as both Saturday and Sunday are expected to remain mostly cloudy, with occasional showers. Highs will remain mild, in the low to mid-70s, with Sunday turning breezy as the wet pattern continues.
The Westerville News is a reader-supported publication by Gary Gardiner, a lifelong journalist who believes hyper-local reporting is the future of news. This publication focuses exclusively on Westerville—its local news, influence on Central Ohio, and how surrounding areas shape the community.
Reader funding, including subscribers, protects editorial independence, so coverage is guided by journalists rather than owners or corporate profit goals. It also reduces pressure to chase clicks, letting the newsroom focus on stories worth readers’ time. And it helps keep the site accessible to everyone, including people who can’t pay or live in places where a free press is under threat.
