Rosa G. Lysaght
September 16, 1951 – April 11, 2026
Rosa G. Lysaght, known to family and friends as Rosi, 74, passed away April 11, 2026, after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Lima, Peru, she was the daughter of Victor G. Acuña and Gilda M. Foppiano Acuña.
Rosi studied in Peru and was certified as a bilingual secretary. She came to Ohio through the Rotary Youth Exchange Program, where she met Gerald R. Lysaght. They were married March 11, 1978, and shared 48 years together.
She began her career with GTE of Marion as an administrative secretary and later worked at Scioto Valve and Fitting in Westerville, where she served as a sales account manager for 12 years before retiring in 2016. Rosi also devoted years to raising her family at home.
She gave generously of her time through St. Vincent de Paul, the Junior Service Guild, and the Christmas Clearing House. She loved music, dancing, fitness, cooking, and baking, and took pride in sharing Peruvian food and traditions with family and friends. She also enjoyed travel, including a Mediterranean cruise in 2023 and many trips with her husband and family.
Rosi especially treasured her role as “Mimi” to her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Gerald R. Lysaght; children Bryan Lysaght and Ninella Lysaght, and Angie Gehres and Jared Gehres; grandchildren Ninella, Elijah, Patrick, and Graceson; six siblings; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her in-laws, Gene and Patsy Lysaght.
Ronald Louis Williams
November 3, 1960 – April 1, 2026
Ronald Louis Williams, known to many as Ron, passed away unexpectedly April 1, 2026, in Westerville, Ohio, at the age of 65. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, to Joyce and Louis Williams, who preceded him in death.
Ron took great pride in being a husband, father, and entrepreneur. Family was at the center of his life, and he found his greatest joy in those closest to him. He was also a devoted fan of the Minnesota Vikings and Ohio State Buckeyes and rarely missed a chance to cheer for his teams.
He is survived by his wife, Deia Williams; son Darien Williams, who knew him as “Daddio”; brother Carl Williams; in-laws Vita Parker and Charles Parker, Ashli Brihm and Christopher Brihm, and Charles “BJ” Parker Jr.; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, and colleagues.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 1, 2026, from 11 a.m. until the noon service at White’s Funeral and Cremation Services, 867 S. James Road, Columbus.
Andrea Nicole Calender
May 24, 1982 – April 10, 2026
Andrea Nicole Calender, 43, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly April 10, 2026. She was born to Cynthia and Robert Calender.
Andrea was known for her gentle nature, loving heart, and youthful spirit. A devout Catholic, she carried her faith as an important part of her life. She worked at Arby’s in Westerville, where she took pride in her job and formed meaningful connections with those around her.
She enjoyed reading, painting, and drawing, and found happiness in quiet creative pursuits. Andrea was also an animal lover and had a special fondness for Halloween and the Renaissance Festival, where her playful side shone. She will be remembered for her kindness, her bright laugh, and the joy she brought to others.
Gerald Allen “Jerry” Kuhlman
September 13, 1939 – March 28, 2026
Gerald Allen “Jerry” Kuhlman, 86, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away March 28, 2026. He was born in Lima, Ohio, to Harold and Helen McCartney Kuhlman. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Dennis Kuhlman, and sister-in-law Ruth Kuhlman.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Peggy Merideth Kuhlman; sons Patrick Kuhlman and Amy P. Kuhlman, and Brian Kuhlman and Amy T. Kuhlman; grandchildren Schuyler Coulter and Gordon Coulter, Shaye Kuhlman and fiancé Ross Jones, Beauregard Kuhlman and fiancé Reannah McGinnis, Mason Kuhlman, Rhiannon Kuhlman, Zachary Kuhlman, Gage Kuhlman, and Joshua Kuhlman; great-grandchildren Jude and Maya Kuhlman; brother Larry Kuhlman; and nephews Scott and Steve Kuhlman.
A 1957 graduate of Miller City High School, Jerry joined the Navy Reserves while still in school and later completed his military service in the Air Force in North Dakota. After serving his country, he worked for City Loan and Savings in Defiance and later for GMAC in Lima and Columbus. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Westerville and the Knights of Columbus.
Jerry was a lifelong sports fan who enjoyed basketball, baseball, sports cars, and following his children, grandchildren, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He especially loved fishing on Lake Erie, where he spent many happy hours taking family and friends out on his boat in search of walleye and perch.
Kelly Ann Ocheltree
August 5, 1984 – April 10, 2026
Kelly Ann Ocheltree, 41, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away April 10, 2026, after a three year battle with cancer. She was known for compassion, determination, and a spirit that lifted those around her.
Kelly devoted 13 years to Westerville City Schools, where she worked as an intervention specialist and instructional coach. She cared deeply for her students and was known as a dedicated educator who worked to ensure every child received support, dignity, and opportunity.
Outside the classroom, Kelly was active in Scouting America and served as Cubmaster for Pack 3197. She found great joy in helping children grow in confidence and discover their abilities through scouting.
She is survived by her husband, Matt Ocheltree, and sons Cole and Noah; her parents, Bob and Karen Baker; her sister, Amy Collier and Gerald Collier; her in-laws, Dave and Sherry Ocheltree; sister-in-law Rebecca Schoenbaechler and Mark Schoenbaechler; brother-in-law Jacob Ocheltree and Hayley Ocheltree; nieces Laila and Aubrey; and nephews Lucas, Logan, and Beckham.
Kelly will be remembered by family, friends, students, colleagues, and scouts for her warmth, humor, and strength.

Sally Kay Penrose
October 8, 1943 – April 11, 2026
Sally Kay Penrose, 82, passed away April 11, 2026, at Johnstown Pointe in Johnstown, Ohio. She was born in Newark, Ohio, to Archie Handel and Katherine Redman Handel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Spencer King Penrose, and brothers Larry Handel and Donald Handel. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Penrose, Kathy Wilson, and Amy Schaaf and JR Schaaf; sister Luanne Utter; grandchildren Christopher Wilson and Jennifer Wilson, Miranda Harvey, Benjamin Wilson and Alli Wilson, and Mason Penrose; and great-grandchildren Lyric Wilson, Maddie Gillman, Iris Wilson, and Ezra Harvey.
Sally graduated from Newark High School and earned a bachelor of education degree from Otterbein College. She was a lifelong member of St. Johns United Church of Christ in Newark, where she taught Sunday School and Bible School and sang in the choir. She was also active in the local Emmaus Community and volunteered for many years at the local food pantry.
A passionate Girl Scout and leader, Sally loved sharing stories and songs around a campfire. She was also skilled in chair caning, restoring many chairs for others and teaching classes at C-TEC. She loved nature, animals, art, and especially her family. A celebration of life will be held later.
