David F. Newman II

David F. Newman II, 82, of Westerville, Ohio, died peacefully on December 14, 2025. He was born August 23, 1943, in Columbus, Ohio, to David F. and Agnes (Cosgray) Newman. David spent his working life in steady service, retiring after nearly 30 years with the Timken Roller Bearing Company. He later retired from JCPenney after more than 20 years. He was known for dependability, consistency, and taking pride in his work.
Although raised as an only child, David built a large and close family that remained the center of his life. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who valued time with his family above all else. He was generous, practical, and always willing to help without being asked.
David is survived by his children, David (Karen) Newman, Leslie (Richard) Kennedy, Larry (Kristin) Newman, Michael (Shelley) Newman, and Matt (Lena) Newman. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life for family and friends will be announced by the family at a later date.
Eugenia F. Magee

Eugenia F. Magee, 92, of Westerville, Ohio, formerly of Lewiston, New York, died Monday, December 15, 2025, in Westerville. She was born May 1, 1933, in Italy, the daughter of Celestino and Celestina (Gentile) Fulgenzi. On November 28, 1957, she married Robert Magee, Ed.D. He preceded her in death on November 8, 2016.
Mrs. Magee was Catholic by faith and spent her career as a fourth-grade teacher. She valued education and took pride in her work with children. She was an avid gardener and a member of the Lewiston Garden Club. She also enjoyed cooking and sharing meals with family and friends. Above all, she was devoted to her family and was known as a caring mother and grandmother who stayed closely connected to those she loved.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Jerry Bailey
12-13-1957 – 12-13-2025
Jerry Bailey, 68, of Westerville, Ohio, died December 13, 2025. He worked for Cardinal Health, retiring from what he often called his favorite job. Jerry was known for loyalty to family and friends and for staying active throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vern and Garnet Bailey, his brother, Dale Bailey, his nephew, Shawn Hershberger, and his longtime friend, Dale Carver.
He is survived by his sisters, Sue Ellyn (Wayne) Wiggand of Centerburg and Kathy Spohn of Mount Vernon. He is also survived by his close friend, Brenda Granger of Westerville. His nieces and nephews include Ivy Hershberger, Stephanie (Jason) Wiggand Yoder, Olivia (Justin) Hamilton, Brad (Brandy) Bailey, Lief (Candi) Wiggand, Barret (Laura) Wiggand, Taylor (Alana) Wiggand, and Skyler (Jamie) Wiggand. He also leaves 21 great-nieces and great-nephews, one great-great niece, one great-great nephew, and many friends.
Jerry enjoyed basketball, softball, golf, pool and dart leagues, riding his Harley, attending the Indy 500, and following Ohio State and the Browns. His favorite time was spent at the family home in Marblehead, boating and fishing on Sandusky Bay.
Dorothy Marie Roloson Raduegge Rector
06-12-1939 – 12-15-2025
Dorothy Marie Roloson Raduegge Rector, known to family and friends as Dottie, Dots, or Dotsybell, 86, of Westerville, Ohio, died peacefully at home on Monday, December 15, 2025. She was born June 12, 1939, in Westerville to Orloff Worth and Clara Olive Roloson. She attended Westerville High School and Franklin University and retired from Rockwell International.
Later in life, she met her husband, Joseph Timothy Rector, at the Blendon Township Senior Center. They married after a brief courtship and enjoyed traveling together, especially trips to Amish Country. They shared a love of gardening and were active with the Westerville Garden Club and the Blendon Township Senior Center. Dottie loved animals, particularly her rescue cocker spaniel, Shadow, and was a regular with her husband at Scramblers on Maxtown Road.
She was active in church life, serving Central College Church as a deacon and elder, volunteering in the kitchen and at the Ice Cream Social, and participating in Stephen’s Ministry. She also attended First Community Church and enjoyed choir and Sunday services. She was known for kindness, faith in action, and welcoming everyone she met.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Joseph Timothy Rector; her children, Karen (Dana) Irwin, Sandra (Mark) Ringer, and Brian Raduegge; her sister, Sarah Loar; her brother, James Orloff (Charlene) Roloson; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Julia Maude and Mary Ruth; her daughter, LuAnn Michelle; and her former husband, Rudolph Heinze.
