Stefani Kotevski
December 10, 1947 – September 23, 2026
Stefani (Stefka) Kotevski, 78, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away Sept. 23, 2026, after a brief illness. She was born Dec. 10, 1947, in the village of Sladuevo, Macedonia.
Stefani immigrated from Bitola, Macedonia, in 1967 and was an active member of St. Mary Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral in Reynoldsburg for nearly 60 years. She was an entrepreneur, the owner and operator of Jumbo’s Sub Shop, a small family business in Whitehall, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Josif Kotevski; parents, Cvetan and Ristana Trajcevski; in-laws, Lazar and Sofija Kotevski; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Aleksandar and Nada Kotevski, Peco and Ljubica Kostovski, and Dushan Spasevski.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Brian) Convery; son, Steven (Miglena) Kotevski; grandchildren Alexandra (Robert) Hildebrand, Josif Kotevski, and Samuel Kotevski; great-grandson Benjamin Hildebrand; sisters Florinka Spasevska and family and Blagica (Ivan) Petrovska and family; brother Jovan Trajcevski and family; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She will be remembered for her kind heart, generous spirit, and the warmth she brought to everyone around her.
Mark A. Zickefoose
January 16, 1963 – September 16, 2026
Mark A. Zickefoose, affectionately known as “BopBop,” 63, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Sept. 16, 2026. He was born Jan. 16, 1963, in Fostoria, Ohio, to Edmond and Carolyn Zickefoose.
Mark spent more than 25 years working at Roush Honda, where he built a career he was proud of before retiring. A devoted Ohio sports fan, he cheered on the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Bengals, and Columbus Blue Jackets, and found joy in photography, music, painting, woodworking, and traveling, with beach vacations holding a special place in his heart. His “version of church” was Sunday mornings at Jimmy V’s in Westerville with friends.
He is survived by his children, Rick Zickefoose, Nick Zickefoose, Tyler Zickefoose, Jessika (Lou) Zickefoose, Luke Zickefoose, Danyelle Brown, Kenny Brown, and Jimmy Pierce; grandchildren Nicholas Zickefoose, Caleb Pierce, Colin Pierce, Michaela Zickefoose, Kendylle Brown, Anaya Zickefoose, Mike Zickefoose, and Mia Zickefoose; sisters Glenda (Jeff) Smith and Dawn (Jerry) Dowell; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmond and Carolyn Zickefoose, and Cherie Pierce, the love of his life for 20 years, who passed in 2017.
Mark will be remembered for his helpful nature, his love of family, and his way of making an ordinary moment memorable.
James Patrick Fredericks
October 4, 1973 – September 23, 2026
James Patrick Fredericks, 53, of New Philadelphia, Ohio, passed away Sept. 23, 2026. He was born in Columbus on Oct. 4, 1973.
James graduated from Westerville South High School and attended Ohio State University. He worked as a pathologist for most of his career in Nebraska. He moved to New Philadelphia in 2017 and spent his final years at Park Village Dover. Raised Catholic, he maintained his faith throughout his life.
He is survived by his sons, Logan and Grant, both of Nebraska; his father, Peter, of Westerville; brothers Michael (Justine) of New Philadelphia, Gregory of Westerville, and Josh (Stephanie) of Westerville; and nieces and nephews Anthony, Brendan, Brianna, Gabrielle, Jordan, Lauren, Luke, and Madison.
James will be remembered as an instant friend, well-liked and highly respected in his profession, who kept a caring circle of friends from childhood and high school that never wavered.
Richard Lee Jones
February 4, 1954 – September 20, 2026
Richard Lee Jones, 72, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away Sept. 20, 2026. He was born Feb. 4, 1954.
He is survived by his sons, Mathew Jones and Thomas Jones (Courtney); his brother, Bradley T. Jones (Sheila L.); nephew Joshua Jones (Samantha Moyer); niece Melissa Gerard (Bradley); and grandchildren Harper Jones and Andrew Jones.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Patrick T. Jones, and his parents, Louise (Hastings) Jones and Thomas Albert Jones.
