Dublin
Dublin launched a safe ride campaign ahead of the Memorial Tournament, including partnerships with ride-share services and expanded shuttle routes.

Overdose Hot Chicken plans to open a second central Ohio location at 5352 N. Hamilton Road, in the former Subway space near the Gahanna-New Albany border.
Gahanna Lincoln softball defeated Olentangy 12-6 in the OHSAA Division I regional semifinal May 28, advancing to face Hilliard Bradley in the regional final.
Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools set May 29 as the registration deadline for high school makeup credit classes in the 2026 Summer School Journey to Learning program.
Galena
Curtain Players Presents Simply Staged was scheduled for May 30 at Curtain Players Theatre.
Grove City
Grove City held a Memorial Day parade and ceremony May 25 to honor fallen U.S. service members. The event moved from Town Center Park to Grove City Cemetery for a formal service.
Heavy rain also caused creek overflows and roadway flooding in Grove City, with Ventura Boulevard seeing roughly eight inches of water.
Groveport
The city’s Memorial Day parade and ceremony stepped off May 25 from Town Hall along Main Street and College Street.
Hilliard
Two Roberts Road corridor projects are scheduled to begin June 1: a mixed-use development and a bridge rehabilitation project. The work was announced by the City of Hilliard and the Franklin County Engineer’s Office.

Sharon Township held its annual Memorial Day Parade on May 25, followed by a ceremony at Sharon Township Cemetery.
The township also hosted the 2026 Music in the Circle community event May 29 at Sharon Center.
Sunbury
Sunbury Planning and Zoning approved the $10 million Local Provision retail and dining project. The 4.6-acre project includes three buildings and outdoor space. Final approval moves to City Council.
PJ’s Original Family Restaurant in Sunbury announced it will permanently close, citing rising operating costs and labor challenges.
A new joint Fire and EMS station for the BST&G Fire District and Delaware County EMS officially opened May 19 at 485 Wilson Road. The facility is intended to improve emergency response coverage for Sunbury and nearby areas.
West Jefferson
Northmor defeated West Jefferson in a Division IV baseball playoff game May 28 as part of the OHSAA state tournament.
Worthington
Worthington held its annual Memorial Day Parade May 25. The parade began at the American Legion Post and concluded at Walnut Grove Cemetery’s Circle of Honor.
Worthington Steel secured $1.4 billion in leveraged financing to fund its acquisition of Klöckner & Co SE.
The city also announced the retirement of IT Director Gene Oliver, who was recognized for leading technology modernization and cybersecurity efforts since 2017.
