Track record. Powell native Ellie Greenwell (Ohio University) set a school record in the women’s 1000m (2:49.92) at the Marshall Alumni Classic on Jan. 10, 2026.
Hilliard
Student driver sign program anniversary. Ohio marks 25 years of the program tied to advocacy connected to a Hilliard resident and a 2004 law change.
OhioHealth facility purchase. OhioHealth bought a newly built facility in Hilliard for $23 million.
Norwich Township car fire response. Crews extinguished a car fire at a Sunoco after a vehicle hit a pump. No injuries reported.

City Council adopted a nondiscrimination ordinance covering employment, housing, and public accommodations, with civil penalties up to $5,000.
