Mr. Gardener,

As always, a well written article, but incomplete.

There are political and propaganda issues,

promoted by the Board of Education, as well as some administrators and teachers.

There are many in Westerville who have become aware of this since Covid allowed them to see the actual curriculum.

As a result they became involved in efforts to change student education curriculum, and influencers, to which the School Board has not responded to effectively or appropriately.

This is not just a fiscal issue.

Thank you for articulating the intangibles of a good school system. I agree-vote Yes for schools.

You must not be able to read a set of books. enrollment is down to the point where they could close three grade schools. In the same time they have added numerous employees. It’s time to shut it down and get every child on a voucher. Close all those magnet schools. Not one of those kids is any smarter than any child in any other school. eliminate raises in salary for anything other than a bachelors degree. No incentive for Masters PhD’s. You don’t need that to teach.
